How can we improve our waterways?
- By removing any barriers, we can lower the risk to fish migration.
- We can restore natural conditions by lots of different ways to help fish to survive, grow in numbers and reproduce more quality stocks of fish.
- We can reconnect and redevelope water sources to its main water catchment areas.
- Increasing natural storage capacity can stop the rivers from drying out.
- We can rebuild and recover the riverbanks and water edges by placing clever structures and or planting native vegetation which will reduce dryness and restore structure to our waterways.
